Words per minute
How fast you spoke. Pace only matters when it stops people following you, so most of the time the honest answer is no change needed.
How many words you said, per minute of recording.
Comfortable conversational English sits roughly between 120 and 160. Below that you may sound hesitant; well above it, people stop following you.
Why this is usually the number you can ignore
Pace is the easiest thing to measure and rarely the thing holding you back. If your snapshot says “no changes needed today”, believe it — speeding up will not raise anything, and it usually costs you clarity.
The exception is when a low number is not really about speed. Very slow speech is often a symptom of planning while talking: you are searching for the next word rather than saying the one you have. In that case the fix is not to speak faster. It is to say the simpler sentence you already know.
It counts the whole recording
Including your silences. That is on purpose — a minute of speaking is a minute, and staying quiet inside it does not make it shorter.
